{weekend wishes}

THIS WEEKEND was absolutely wonderful! Friday night, I was presented in 9 o'clock cotillion in Knoxville. It is the best excuse to get dressed up and enjoy a fabulous band and party at Cherokee Country Club. Each year, about 40 women who are married and under the age of 40 are presented along with their husbands. It felt like prom- but so much better!!

The colors we were given for our dresses were gold, merlot, silver and teal. It was actually pretty difficult to find the perfect dress that matched one of the color swatches. I chose gold, and I'm so pleased with my choice.

It felt like I was back at Miss Tennessee standing backstage waiting for my name to be called. Just another way pageants help prepare you for life!

Mardi Growl, an annual dog parade presented by Young Williams animal shelter, was Saturday morning. We decided to take Sophie and my little sister, TT, to the parade. It was a blast!! Sophie did such a great job watching the parade of dogs and we even joined in at the end. We may be a little biased, but she is the best dog in the world!

I am totally addicted to Pure Barre classes and took another class Sunday after church. I definitely recommend the classes. I am so uncoordinated, but still am able to complete the class. More details are below.

March has proven to be pretty wonderful so far! I hope your weekend was full of wonderful wishes!
