July 4th is one of my favorite holidays. A few years ago, my college friends and I began the tradition of all going to C's lakehouse, shooting fireworks and spending a wonderful weekend together. This year we are looking forward to it more than ever since we all live in different cities. So here are some ideas to make your barbecue, outfit and lake day absolutely spectacular.

And my absolute favorite find for 4th of July cocktails... all you have to do is put fruit on a skewer and freeze them for a couple of hours. Not only do they look absolutely adorable, they keep your drink cooler for a longer period of time! Simply perfect.
